Short Note: Thanks to John for their generous donation.
I arrived at 9 pm to the hotel in London and had dinner with Marian Vajda. I tried to explain to him the problems with the completion bond. I went to sleep early (11 pm) and mentally I worked on the film and theories.
In yesterday’s meeting, the head of the Department of Neurology said to me in passing that the recognition of faces isn’t made through the gaze, but through a complex process, in which the entire brain (and the body) collaborates, through opposition to rhe recognition of the space. Bachelard would add that in the contemplation a subtle games of comings and goings between the contemplated things and the one who contemplates operates, that culminates in mutual recognition, and in that process the entire body also cooperates actively and, in that sense, there’s “contemplative will”.
16. 45 hrs. In Charing Cross, after the meeting in the company that ensures the completion. They need more information and that means new meetings and, thus, delays. We’re already at June, with the looks of September, which forces me to change all my plans. The good: it gives me time to finish my films in Chile, preparing Valeria’s film. The bad: I have to move Aberdeen and other shoots.
Now on the Eurostar train to Paris. The will for doing things is a lot, and the money is there. The British investment also. And it’s a lot. The film is ceasing to be European and it’s sad. Europe is moving to recondite regions. For the moment I work in Scotland and Chile. Maybe soon in England.
