I started to put my papers in order to start writing Poetics of Cinema. I’ll start in a week and a half. I read some pages from a collection of essays by Gadamer: word gesture. His subject: sense without key (isn’t it the same as structure without semantics?). Listening to an orchestral work by Schoenberg that seems to come from a crime action film.

17.45 hrs. I bought Babel by Roger Callois, with an inscription. Half of the book wasn’t opened. It’s always sad. Two novels by Castellanos Moya. One, Revulsion, made Valeria want to make a film in Chile. It has as subtitle Thomas Bernard in San Salvador. The other, simple curiosity, is called She-Devil in the Mirror.
